Bay Pickle Membership Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility & Registration

   - Membership is exclusively for registered family members.  

   - Full name and HKID must be provided at or before purchase.  

2. Non-Transferable & Non-Sharable

   - Memberships are strictly personal and may not be transferred or shared.  

   - Any non-member using the court without the registered member present will incur a HK$600/hour non-member booking fee.  

3. Court Usage Policy

• Courts are for Pickleball play only and must be used in accordance with Bay Pickle rules.
• *Strictly Prohibited: *
  
  • Reselling, transferring, or commercializing court time in any way.
  • Profiting from court bookings, including but not limited to:
    
    • Selling slots to non-members.
    • Charging others for access beyond official Bay Pickle fees.
    • Using court time for unauthorized commercial activities.
    • Posting court availability on Reclub or third-party platforms without Bay Pickle’s permission.
    • Providing paid coaching, training, or events without written consent.
  • Determination of Coaching: For the avoidance of doubt, coaching is considered to have occurred if a  member organizes a coaching session (e.g., "Coaching Friends") or  brings an external coach onto the premises, and the duration of the  coaching instruction exceeds fifteen (15) minutes within a one-hour  booking session.
  • Liability: Any personal injury, disputes, or losses caused by unauthorized private coaching shall be the sole responsibility of the involved parties. The  company Bay Pickle shall not be liable.

4. Penalties for Violations 

   - Breaches will result in:  

     - Immediate membership suspension.  

     - A HK$3,000 penalty + administrative fee.  

     - Deduction from remaining membership credits.  

5. No-Show & Cancellation Policy

   - No-shows will be charged the full court fee  

   - No make-up sessions or refunds will be provided.  

6. Refund & Exchange Policy 

   - All purchases are final—non-refundable and non-exchangeable.  

7. Updates to Terms & Conditions  

   - Bay Pickle reserves the right to modify terms, house rules, or conditions as needed.  

   - Any changes will be notified to members and updated on the official website. Continued use of membership constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.  

8. Final Discretion

   - Bay Pickle reserves the sole right to interpret and enforce these terms.

Rule: Mandatory Guest Check-In & Waiver Policy

All guests must:  

1. Check in at the front desk before court access  

2. Complete a waiver form (digital or physical)  

Requirements:  

✓ Member must accompany guest(s) during check-in  

✓ Valid photo ID required (HKID/passport) for all first-time guests  

✓ Non-member fees (if applicable) paid at check-in  

✓ Waiver must acknowledge:  

   - Assumption of injury risks  

   - Agreement to facility rules  

   - Emergency contact details  

Non-compliance will result in: 

◉ Guest access denial  

◉ Member penalty fees (if rules circumvented)  

Waivers are kept on file for 12 months. Frequent guests may complete annual renewals.
